Six important agreements with international partners worth more than €2.5 million were signed on Wednesday during the Lviv Resilience Day event, held on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026) in Gdańsk, Poland, even before the official opening of the conference scheduled for Thursday, Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi reported.
“Together with the Government of Lithuania, we attracted over €1 million for the development of the St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital and the Unbroken University educational programs. Together with Swedfund, we secured €500,000 for preparing a project to modernize Lviv’s heating system. The Czech company AS&HC will provide three heat pumps for our maternity hospital,” Sadovyi wrote on Telegram on Wednesday.
According to him, together with the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a memorandum was signed to establish a German Desk, which will become the third investment attraction office in Lviv after the Japan Desk and Norway Desk. In addition, together with the Czech-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a new educational program was launched within the Unbroken University Municipal Partnership School, aimed at helping Ukrainian communities attract investment and build international partnerships.
A memorandum was also signed with the French company TAP Holding, which plans to expand its activities in Ukraine and open new facilities in Lviv, the mayor said.
“And these are only the results of one day of work in Gdańsk. In reality, each of these agreements is the result of months of negotiations, meetings, business trips, and the daily work of our team,” he added.
