Madonna supports Peace Summit in Switzerland, urges protection of Ukrainian children from Russia

American singer Madonna has supported the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland and called for the fight for peace and the protection of Ukrainian children. Madonna wrote about this on her Instagram.

Madonna reminded that on June 15th world leaders will gather in Switzerland for the Global Peace Summit focused on an End to the war in Ukraine and the return of more than 19.000 Ukrainian Children who were torn from their families and deported to Russia.

"Wherever there is conflict Children suffer…… Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, Yemen, Syria, Nigeria, Congo, Malawi……. The list goes on and on. We may not agree on much but I pray we can all agree that Our children need to be protected!" — wrote the singer. She stated that she stands for peace for all children worldwide.

 

 

"I Stand for Peace for All Children Everywhere. All over the world. And I will never stop! I hope you will join Me," — Madonna wrote. The singer's video call to join the Peace Summit featured footage of the consequences of Russian strikes on Ukraine, as well as footage of children who were forced to leave their homes or were left without electricity due to Russian strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure.

In her post, she also used symbols in the form of yellow and blue hearts.
