In Ukrainian intelligence, the first details of the Russian destabilization campaign in Ukraine, known as "Maidan-3," have been revealed, and those responsible for its implementation have been identified.

Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, reported this to NV.

He stated that the Russian information attack is already underway.

"This is not some single topic; it is a parallel intensification of a number of conflicting events within the country. It involves the amplification of internal disagreements using traditional Russian and propaganda narratives. We see that recently Russian propaganda has once again paid extremely close attention, in particular, to domestic political events in Ukraine," he said.

As Yusov pointed out, this indicates that the internal situation in Ukraine is important to Russia. Therefore, according to him, the attack from the Russians is "not just aimed at indulging someone's vanity."

He noted that in Russia, traditionally, the responsibility for implementing the most extensive economic-psychological operations against Ukraine lies with Sergey Kirienko, the first deputy head of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation. Additionally, according to the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, there has been an observed return of Vladislav Surkov, one of the authors of the "Novorossiya" project, to propaganda and ideological work against Ukraine.

Yusov emphasized that intelligence had previously reported that Russia consistently carries out a series of information-psychological operations against Ukraine, targeting both external audiences to discredit the state and weaken the pro-Ukrainian coalition globally, as well as the Ukrainian audience.

According to him, the objectives of operations targeting the Ukrainian audience include dividing society, demoralizing resistance, demotivating resistance against Russian invaders, and intensifying and shifting the focus to internal contradictions before external aggression.

He noted that these were key objectives of Russian propaganda, the Russian regime, and Russian special services long before the full-scale invasion. However, Russians were unable to achieve their goals, as the unity of the Ukrainian society was crucial for both internal resistance and the formation of an external coalition.

President Volodymyr Zelensky had previously disclosed that Russia has a plan for destabilizing Ukraine called "Maidan-3." According to him, Moscow aims to fracture Ukrainian society, creating "chaos" to eventually remove him from the position of the head of state.

"Maidan for them is a coup, so the operation is clear," Zelensky stated.
