Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk has set a new personal record and has become the national leader in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings.

This was reported by the official website of the organization.

The 21-year-old Ukrainian rose to 17th place in the women's professional rankings. She surpassed the strongest Ukrainian tennis player in history, Elina Svitolina, who dropped to 21st position.
