Ukraine's top tennis player Marta Kostyuk has risen to the second ten of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings. Her compatriots Elina Svitolina and Dayana Yastremska continue to chase her.

The national tennis leader moved up two positions and now holds the 19th spot in the global rankings.
Svitolina also made minimal progress, moving up one spot to 28th place, while Yastremska remained in 33rd. Angelina Kalinina dropped two positions to 54th, while Lesia Tsurenko held onto her previous ranking at 82nd.
Four more Ukrainian players are in the second hundred of the WTA rankings. Daria Snigur and Yuliya Starodubtseva moved up one position, while their more experienced compatriot Katarina Zavatska dropped two. Anastasia Soboleva jumped to 200th place with a 16-position rise.
Iga Świątek remains the world’s number one player. The Polish tennis star has secured her spot in the year-end tournament, while the race behind her has intensified. Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus has overtaken American Coco Gauff to claim the second spot.
