In the early hours of November 7, Russian forces once again launched a massive drone attack on Kyiv, deploying multiple waves of strike UAVs.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration. The drones approached Kyiv individually and in groups from various directions, at different altitudes, including both very low and high levels. The air raid alert in Kyiv lasted 8 hours.
Thanks to the coordinated work of the air defense forces, more than 30 Russian drones were neutralized over Kyiv and on its approaches. Kyiv City Military Administration stated that the exact number and types of drones would be disclosed by the Ukrainian Air Force.
Debris fell in six areas of the city, damaging several residential and non-residential buildings. Fires ignited at the impact sites but were quickly extinguished. Two people were reported injured and are in satisfactory condition.
Kyiv City Military Administration added that there is currently no air raid alert in Kyiv, but drones have been detected in Ukrainian airspace and may be heading toward the capital.
