Massive Russian attack on Kyiv: death toll rises to 3 and 26 injured

As a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv, three people were killed and another 26 were injured. Mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, reported this on Telegram.

“We are clarifying the information, as rescuers are still unable to retrieve the bodies,” he noted.

Regarding the injured, according to the mayor, their number has risen to 26. Among them are two children aged seven and ten.

9 people have been hospitalized, including a pregnant woman. The rest received medical assistance on-site or on an outpatient basis.

The consequences of the Russian attack, carried out during the night of November 14, were recorded in nine districts of Kyiv.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported the following:

  • Podil District. A hit on a multi-story residential building. Thirteen people were rescued.
  • Dnipro District. A fire in apartments of a five-story building was extinguished. Seventeen people were rescued. At another address, a fire was put out and partial destruction of a building was recorded.
  • Darnytsia District. A fire on the premises of a school was extinguished.
  • Desnianskyi District. A fire broke out in a multi-story residential building. It was localized. Nine people were rescued, fifty were evacuated.
  • One person was killed. Fourteen people were rescued, including one child, and one person was freed from under the rubble.
  • Solomianskyi District. Fire on the roof of a residential building. Twenty people were rescued.
  • Sviatoshynskyi District. A hit on a residential building. A fire in a 22-story building was extinguished.
  • Holosiivskyi District. Debris fell on the territory of a hospital. At another address, a fire in a building was extinguished.
  • Shevchenkivskyi District. A fire in an open area was extinguished.
  • Obolon District. A hit on a nine-story residential building caused apartment fires. One person was rescued, and the fire was extinguished.
