Famous blogger and illustrator Francesca Presentini joined the dubbing of the cartoon. She will give her voice to the Water Mermaid.

In France, the film was released on March 29, 2023, under the title Le Royaume de Naya ("The Kingdom of Naya"). According to the results of the first weekend, it took the 5th place at the national box office of France. In Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, the film will be released on June 14, 2023. On April 19th, "Mavka" will be released in the Netherlands.
