In the village Marinovka, Odessa region, the preparation of the route for the Pokrovskoe Koltso rally, which will take place on May 29-30, 2021, has been completed.
May 29-30, 2021 in the village of Marinovka will host the 1st stage of the Mini Rally Championship in Ukraine "Pokrovskoe Koltso".
The competition will take place on an updated track with new sections, the total length of which will be 19 km. Entry to all locations of the event is free!
Marinovka is a small village 40 kilometers from Odessa. At first, the route laid in the vicinity of the village was called "Pokrovskoe Koltso" and had a length of 5 km, but over time it gradually increased to 8, and later to 13 km.
The race will symbolize some kind of back to the origins, as it will take place in such an iconic place as Marinovka, where the "Liman Cup" was born, and on the same significant date as 12 years ago. The competition will take place on an updated track with new sections, the total length of which will be 19 km, and will be a pleasant surprise for all participants.
In total, since 2004, the "Liman Cup" has held 51 competitions in various cities of Ukraine, such as: Odessa, Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, Kyiv, Boyarka, Pervomaisk (Nikolaev region), Kamenets-Podolsky, Donetsk, Chernomorskoe (AR Crimea), in the Republic of Moldova, in which athletes from such countries as: Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Turkey, Russia, Greece took part.
One of the stages of 2009 was named in honor of the founder and permanent organizer of the “Liman Cup†- Shapovalov Viktor - “Shapovalov Rally Cupâ€.
