On July 6 and 7, Russian forces intensified their assaults across several Ukrainian regions, resulting in numerous civilian casualties and widespread damage to homes and infrastructure.

Donetsk: 7 civilians killed, 15 injured

Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported on Facebook that seven residents were killed and another fifteen injured in the Donetsk region on July 6.

“Four people were killed in Kostiantynivka, two in Druzhkivka, and one in Novohryhorivka,” Filashkin said.

He also emphasized that the total number of civilian casualties in Donetsk region—3,321 killed and 7,470 injured—does not include data from the occupied cities of Mariupol and Volnovakha.

On the night of July 7, Russian forces struck Sloviansk, causing injuries in the Zaliznychnyi and Khimik neighborhoods. Vadym Liakh, head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, reported damage to several apartment buildings, private homes, and two schools, with civilians wounded.

Sumy region: nearly 90 attacks, 2 killed

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that over the past 24 hours, Russian forces launched nearly 90 attacks on 38 settlements across the region, killing two people.

One person was injured in the Khotin community and another in the Sumy community due to FPV drone strikes. Two people were killed and one injured by UAV attacks.

The majority of strikes targeted the Sumy and Shostka districts, with the use of guided aerial bombs, drone-dropped grenades (VOGs), and missile strikes.

The assaults damaged private homes and civilian infrastructure across multiple communities. In the Sumy community alone, 23 private homes were damaged, five of which were destroyed.

Kherson: 2 killed, 9 injured

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported that Russian shelling, drone terror, and airstrikes killed two people and wounded nine others in Kherson region over the past day.

The attacks targeted a wide range of settlements including Kherson city and surrounding villages such as Antonivka, Berehove, and Shyroka Balka.

Prokudin noted damage to two apartment buildings, 21 private houses, a gas station, civilian vehicles, and an emergency services vehicle.

Kyiv: drone fragments cause damage in 3 districts

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko described the damage caused by a Russian drone attack on the night of July 7 in three districts of the capital.

“In the Desnianskyi district, falling drone fragments damaged the facade of an administrative building, a gas pipe, and an empty storage tank. The burning debris was extinguished. No casualties were reported,” Klitschko said.

He added that in the Solomianskyi district, drone fragments damaged vehicles and a water pipe at a car wash, but no fires or injuries occurred.

In the Holosiivskyi district, drone debris damaged windows of an office building and a large heating main, which utility workers are already repairing. Preliminary reports indicated no injuries.

Kharkiv: number of injured rises to 27

The number of people injured during a Russian drone attack on Kharkiv increased to 27, with three hospitalized, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, provided details:

“Currently, there are 23 injured, including 3 children. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, there are 15 injured; in the Slobidskyi district, 8 injured. All are receiving medical care. Emergency services units are working on site.”

He added,

“Three injured, including one child, have been hospitalized. Their condition is moderate. Medics are providing all necessary assistance.”

Zaporizhzhia: over 500 strikes in a single day

According to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Russian forces carried out 538 strikes over the past day across 12 settlements.

The attacks included six airstrikes on Plavni, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, and Novoandriivka, alongside 378 drone attacks (mostly FPV drones) targeting Bilenke, Prymorske, Kamianske, and several other settlements.

Additionally, two rocket artillery and 152 artillery strikes hit multiple communities, damaging apartments, private homes, agricultural machinery, and production facilities.
