Three analogs of the Chinese Mavic drone have been developed in Ukraine. The drones meet NATO standards, feature protection against electronic warfare (EW), and have automatic landing capabilities.
This was reported by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
Fedorov explained that since the beginning of the summer, participants of Brave1 have been working on an analog of the Chinese Mavic. Currently, three such Ukrainian drones meet NATO standards and are operating on the front lines: Lynza and Zoom from Frontline, and Shmavik from Reactive Drones.
"These drones are adapted to the realities of war, with integrated communication systems that are resistant to enemy EW, as well as automatic landing and a 'return home' mode," said Fedorov.
He also noted that a significant portion of the components is produced by Ukrainian manufacturers.
In the two and a half years of war, Ukrainian specialists have outpaced Russia in technology. Reconnaissance and strike drones, "long" UAVs, FPV drones, and unmanned systems designed to destroy enemy equipment have changed the course of the war. Ukraine is setting the "technological trend" on the battlefield, and drone production has become widespread.
