New grain terminal to be built in Yuzhny port (Odessa region)

The Ukrainian company TC Tehagro LLC presented a project for the construction of a new grain terminal to the Council of the Administration of the Yuzhny (Pivdenny) port, on September 8, 2021, according to the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine (USPA).


Construction is scheduled to begin on 2022 and will take 44 months. The payback period of the project is 6 years.

The new terminal will be located on the territory of 2.88 hectares. It will be dedicated to the reception and transshipment of grain cargo in bulk from road and rail transport, vegetable oil from road transport and sunflower seeds.

According to the project, the planned cargo turnover of the new terminal will amount to 2.7 million tons of grain per year, 200 thousand tons of vegetable oil. Sunflower seeds processing: up to 80 thousand tons per year.
