Ukrainian agribusiness and logistics company NIBULON has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, prepared in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) requirements. The report, released publicly for the first time with the full involvement of external stakeholders, outlines the company's progress toward its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives and sets priorities through 2030.

According to the company, NIBULON's ESG strategy includes measurable targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and a roadmap extending to the end of the decade. The report details achievements made during 2025 and identifies the next steps in implementing the strategy.

Decarbonization and Renewable Energy

As part of its decarbonization efforts, NIBULON plans to install solar power plants at 30% of its grain elevator complexes by 2030. By the end of 2025, solar facilities had already been installed at 8.7% of the company's elevator sites.

The company has also set a goal of meeting 100% of the electricity needs of its passenger and freight vehicle services through solar energy by 2030. At the end of 2025, renewable energy supplied 12% of those requirements.

Lower Fuel Consumption and Greener Transport

Reducing resource consumption remains one of the company's key sustainability priorities. In agricultural production, NIBULON reduced fuel consumption by 1.4% per hectare during 2025, moving toward its target of a 10% reduction by 2030.

In its logistics operations, fuel use declined by 4.1% per 100 kilometers traveled.

The company also continued to modernize its vehicle fleet. Hybrid passenger vehicles accounted for 5% of the fleet by the end of 2025, with NIBULON aiming to increase that figure to 20% in the coming years. The target applies to both logistics divisions and branches operating transportation assets.

Advancing Circular Economy Goals

NIBULON reported further progress in waste management and resource reuse. The company aims to return 90% of its waste into economic circulation, and by the end of 2025 had already achieved a rate of 86%.

The sustainability report covers 25 material topics, including soil health, product quality, certification standards, environmental performance, social responsibility, and corporate governance.

Commitment to Responsible Business

NIBULON stated that social responsibility and business integrity have been central to its operations since the company's founding. The group continues to invest in environmental initiatives, support charitable projects, and contribute to the development of local communities while integrating ESG standards across all areas of its business.

The company said it believes that responsible business practices can help strengthen Ukraine's international reputation as a key contributor to global food security.

The full 2025 Sustainability Report is available on NIBULON's website in the section dedicated to sustainable development.
