In the night from May 5 to 6, Russian forces launched a wave of drone strikes across Ukraine, targeting several regions, including Odesa, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk. The attacks caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure, fires, and tragic casualties.
Odessa region
Russians attacked Odessa region with strike UAVs, damaging several civilian infrastructure facilities, with fires in some places, and there is one casualty. This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper.
"The enemy attacked Odesa region with strike drones. There is one victim," the post states.
As a result of the Russian strike on Odessa district, several civilian infrastructure objects were damaged, including private residential houses. Fires broke out in some areas, which our rescuers are actively extinguishing, Oleg Kiper notes. The body of a deceased person was found in one of the houses, adds the head of the Odesa regional administration.

Kharkiv region
Number of injured from Russian strikes on Kharkiv rises to four. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
"The number of people injured as a result of enemy strikes on Kharkiv has increased to four. A 59-year-old man and a 44-year-old man also suffered acute stress reactions. Medical workers are providing all necessary assistance," he stated.
Syniehubov clarified that at dawn, 20 Shahed-type UAVs attacked Kharkiv in several waves. The massive attack lasted for over two hours, and fires broke out at the sites of impact.
At present, State Emergency Service firefighters are eliminating the consequences of the strikes.
Mykolaiv region
On Monday, May 5, Russian forces attacked the Kutsurub community three times with FPV drones. A private house in the village of Dniprovke was damaged. No casualties were reported.
Yesterday, the Russian forces also attacked the waters of the Ochakiv community with FPV drones. No casualties were reported.
In addition, the Russian forces struck the Kobleve community with a combat drone — the type is being identified. A building of a children’s wellness center was damaged. No casualties were reported.
Kherson region
In Kherson region on May 5, as a result of Russian aggression, one person was killed and three others were injured, this was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to him, Kherson, Antonivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Molodizhne, Naddnipryanske, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Kizomys, Oleksandrivka, Tomyna Balka, Mykilske, Znamianka, Beryslav, Novoraisk, Dudchany, Mylove, Monastyrske, Mykhailivka, Havrylivka, Osokorivka, Veletenske, Vesele, Zolota Balka, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Kachkarivka, Kozatske, Novotyahynka, Poniativka, Sofiivka, Tokarivka, Tyahynka, and Chervonyi Mayak came under drone terror, artillery shelling, and airstrikes.
Two apartment buildings, nine private houses, a cell tower, gas pipelines, a warehouse, and private vehicles were damaged. One person was killed and three others were wounded, Prokudin emphasized.
Zaporizhzhia region
Over the past day, the Russian forces carried out 479 strikes on 15 populated areas in Zaporizhzhia region, this was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

There were 16 reports of damage to apartments, private houses, outbuildings, a vehicle, and an infrastructure facility. No civilian casualties were reported.
Donetsk region
On May 5, the Russian army killed three residents of Donetsk region and wounded another 16 people. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.

Sumy region
