Finnish technology company Nokia has joined Diia.City.

This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science and Technologies, Mykhailo Fedorov.

"Residency will provide the company with the best legal and tax conditions, tools for attracting venture capital investments and protecting intellectual property rights. Now the company will be able to develop more actively in Ukraine and contribute to developing the digital economy," Fedorov said.

The Nokia company is currently engaged in the production of telecommunications equipment, in particular 5G.

Fedorov added that the team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation cooperates with Nokia in the field of Internet and communication development. The company previously handed over 5,000 routers for Ukrainian schools. They help children continue their studies in shelters during air raids.
