International financial service provider NovaPay is increasing interest rates on its corporate bonds from 2 November, offering returns of up to 18.75% per annum depending on the investment term, according to a company press release.
"For those who have already purchased bonds, nothing will change: returns will continue to accrue at the rate in effect at the time of purchase. New investors, however, will have access to updated rates of up to 18.75% per annum, depending on the investment term," says László Udut, Head of Treasury at NovaPay.
The company explained that the rate revision reflects changes in financial market conditions and increases in the National Bank of Ukraine's (NBU) key policy rate. In particular, the NBU raised the rate to 15.5% in July, 16% in September and 16.5% in October.
Interest rates on NovaPay corporate bonds with maturities of three to twelve months are expected to increase by 0.5–1 percentage point. The largest increases, of 1 percentage point, apply to six- and nine-month investments, while rates for one- and two-month terms will remain unchanged.
NovaPay added that the updated annual interest rates will be as follows:
- 1 month – 12%
- 2 months – 14%
- 3 months – 16%
- 4 months – 17.75%
- 6 months – 18.5%
- 9 months – 18.5%
- 12 months – 18.5%
According to the company, as of October 2026, more than 8,500 customers had purchased its corporate bonds, with total sales exceeding UAH 5.1 billion.
Founded in 2001, NovaPay is an international financial service provider belonging to the Nova Group (Nova Poshta). It offers financial services both online and offline through Nova Poshta branches.
In 2023, NovaPay became the first non-bank financial institution in Ukraine to receive an extended licence from the NBU, allowing it to open accounts and issue payment cards.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, NovaPay accounts for approximately 22.7% of the total volume of domestic money transfers.
