Such actions by Russia are nothing but terrorism in accordance with the International Convention for the Suppression of the Taking of Hostages, adopted in New York on December 17, 1979, the 2005 Council of Europe Convention on the Prevention of Terrorism and War Crimes under Article 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
