Ukraine is in a blackout after today's shelling of the power structure, but Odesa Photo Days continue the fight on all fronts
Odesa Photo Days are back in Paris, and this time as part of the Un week end al Est festival, in collaboration with the bookstore-gallery Delpire & Co, they will present two events:

Opening of the exhibition of young Ukrainian photographers
Ivan Samoilov, Tim Melnikov and Stanislav Boyko are participants of the photographic storytelling mentoring program for young photographers, organized in September-November 2022 by the international festival of contemporary photography Odesa Photo Days with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
In the series created during the program, the authors observe and document the consequences of the war in Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Odesa.

Meeting with Odesa Photo Days curator Kateryna Radchenko
At the meeting, Kateryna will talk about the activities of the photo festival during the war, and will also give a presentation on "How to read a photograph" using the following examples:
- the book Images Tell Stories, a joint publication with the Finnish Museum of Photography, about vernacular family photography and how to read it;
- two volumes of The Information Front, a newspaper in support of Ukrainian photographers and photography, founded by Kateryna Radchenko, photographers Donald Weber and Christopher Nunn.
