Odessa hotel "Gagarinn" was given permission to open a casino - gambling hall, according to the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries.
It will be the first one in Odessa, where halls with slot machines and casinos will legally operate. The hotel can also engage in bookmaking activities. The necessary documents were issued to Gagarinn Hotel on February 2, 2021.
How exactly the casino will look like and when it will open, the press service of the hotel did not say. However, it is known that more than four thousand square meters will be allocated for gambling. The casino will be located on the first and seventh floors of Gagarinn Hotel.
The first license to organise online casinos in Ukraine was received by Spaceix LLC, which is owned by Kosmolot.
Last summer, in Odessa they found an illegal gambling establishment that worked "behind closed doors". For confidential purposes, customers entered the club by a preliminary call with a special password. When police arrived, there were about 50 visitors in the gambling room.
