The First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, visited a rehabilitation center for Ukrainian military personnel and their families in the Carpathian Mountains.

Originally intended to treat mountain injuries before the full-scale invasion, the center was repurposed into a rehabilitation hub with personalized programmes for servicemen and women, initiated by private businesses and the President's wife. The development of these programmes is based on international evidence-based rehabilitation protocols.

Currently, around 600 defenders have undergone rehabilitation using his methods. Concurrently, a recreation programme is available for servicemen and their families, which has already been utilized by over 2,000 fighters.

After examination, each military member receives an individual programme designed to achieve high results in the shortest possible time. This goal of achieving effects within two weeks brought together the best specialists in the country and formed the basis for creating the proprietary "Kineziokolo" methodology.

The center has developed expertise in treating combat injuries, a complex for maintaining muscle balance after exertion and during the waiting period for prosthetics, and a foundation for adaptive behavioral interaction.

"Having visited here, I thanked the medical professionals who are saving the health and psyche of the fighters and their loved ones, as well as the fighters who are saving us all," emphasized Olena Zelenska.

The First Lady also familiarized herself with the activities of the "Promprylad.Renovation" space. This innovative center is based on the former Soviet factory in Ivano-Frankivsk. The old enterprise in the city center operated at only 10% of its capacity in 2019. That's when a team emerged to undertake its renovation and reimagination.

Within the territory of seven buildings, totaling an area of 41,905 square meters, there will be a school for new professions, a makerspace, a sports center, a food market with 15 restaurant concepts, conference rooms, a photo studio, a yoga and modern dance studio, a co-working space for parents with a children's room, a sorting station, a city library and bookstore, an alternative school for children, a hotel, and a hostel-co-living space.

"Both local residents and IDPs have found work and self-realization here, where they work, create, meet, and spend time. As the space transforms itself, it transforms the entire city. Even on a national scale, this reimagining of the factory is a unique example. The term 'inclusive economy' comes to mind. 'Promprylad.Renovation' is precisely such an example where the old is infused with new meaning and comes to life, the ruined is rebuilt even better, the interests of all are considered and combined, and development is accessible to everyone. This is one of those principles upon which the entire country should be rebuilt," said the President's wife.
