The sabre of Ukrainian Olympic champion Olga Kharlan was sold at an online auction for 10 million UAH, as reported by public figure Serhiy Prytula.

"Olga Kharlan's sabre, a two-time Olympic champion and the most decorated Ukrainian athlete in Olympic history, has just been sold for 10,000,000 UAH! All funds will be used to purchase automated 'Shablya' turrets for our infantry!" Prytula wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday.

Earlier, the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation announced the auction of Kharlan's sabre.

"The most decorated Ukrainian athlete in Olympic history handed us the sabre used for the decisive thrust in her fencing final at the Paris Olympics. This sabre has already brought gold to Ukraine, and we will ensure it brings benefits to the front!" the Foundation's message stated.

Kharlan has won six Olympic medals in her career, including two golds from the 2008 and 2024 Olympics, a silver from the 2016 Olympics, and three bronzes from the 2012, 2016, and 2024 Olympics.
