As a result of the Russian strike on Odesa, one person was killed and the number of injured has risen to four.
The head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, reported this on Telegram.
“The number of injured has increased to four. Unfortunately, it has just become known that one of them has died. Doctors fought for his life until the very end, but the injuries proved incompatible with life,” the statement says.
The blast wave also damaged windows in an educational institution and nearby residential buildings. Specialists from the district administration are already conducting inspections and assessing the extent of the damage.
As of 7:00 a.m., municipal services had completed the cleanup and emergency response work following the evening attack in the residential area. In five buildings where the blast wave shattered around 50 windows, all repair work has already been completed.
Work is still ongoing at the school, where 47 windows were damaged. Due to the complexity of the repairs, special equipment has been brought in to seal all window openings as quickly as possible.
