Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has received 3,325 units of energy equipment, and deliveries of more than 1,520 additional generators, 450 transformers, and 159 other pieces of equipment are still expected.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy.
The ministry noted that Ukraine has received generators, transformers, cogeneration units, modular boiler houses, and other equipment. The assistance was provided by partners from the European Union, Canada, the United States, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Japan, and other countries.
“Since the beginning of the year, 394 shipments of humanitarian aid with a total weight of more than 3,000 tonnes have been dispatched from the hub’s warehouses to the regions. These included 2,387 generators, 75 transformers, and 160 units of modular boiler houses, cogeneration units, and boilers,” the statement said.
Overall, since March 2022, under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy, Ukraine has received 2,299 humanitarian shipments of energy equipment with a total weight of more than 29,500 tonnes. Of this amount, more than 26,700 tonnes have already been distributed among the regions.
