On the night of October 30, the Defense Forces destroyed 33  drones, with 25 more lost from location tracking.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, starting at 8:00 p.m. on October 29, the Russian forces launched a missile of an unidentified type from Russia’s Belgorod region, targeting a private sector in Sumy. Additionally, they attacked with 62 Shahed-type strike drones and other unidentified drones from the directions of Oryol and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia. Russian tactical aviation continued to strike front-line territories in the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions using guided aerial bombs.

The aerial assault was countered by anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Air Forces and Defense Forces.

"As of 7:00 a.m., 33 UAVs were confirmed shot down across the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions, while 25 drones are lost from location tracking. Information is being verified and updated," the statement reads.
