During a visit to the United Kingdom, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak visited the Bovington Camp military base, where Ukrainian soldiers are being trained.

The Head of State watched the training of Ukrainian crews on the British Challenger main battle tank and other armored vehicles. The President was shown practical elements of the training course.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also spoke with the military and the base command.

"I saw that the guys are willing to learn fast. Our servicemen are diligent and eager to learn new skills as soon as possible to return home and use everything they have learned to liberate our territory. I see that they have everything they need for this, including powerful tanks. Exactly the kind we need. And we are doing everything to ensure that they appear on the battlefield just as quickly," the Head of State noted.

The President presented stated awards to Ukrainian warriors. In particular, the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky of the III degree, the Orders for Courage of the III degree, and medals for military service to Ukraine were awarded to tankmen, paratroopers and mechanics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
