The decrees of the Russian president speak of the "expression of will" at pseudo-referendums held in the occupied territories.
On Thursday, September 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees recognizing Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions as independent territories.
This is reported by the Russian media and Telegram channels.
In the text of the published decrees, the master of the Kremlin cynically appeals to the "principles and norms of international law", in particular, to the principle of "equality and self-determination of peoples, which is enshrined in the UN Charter."
The decrees of the Russian president also speak of the "expression of will" at pseudo-referendums that took place in the occupied territories of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Thus, Vladimir Putin decided to "recognize the state sovereignty and independence" of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Earlier, the Russian invaders published the results of the so-called "referenda" in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
As expected, the Russians "drawn" indicators of more than 90% for the entry of the occupied territories into the Russian Federation.
Putin intends to announce the annexation of new lands in the coming days, despite the fact that the international community has not recognized the "referenda".
