Russian forces during the rocket shelling of Kharkiv tonight, April 24, struck a residential complex in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city.
This was reported by the Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov.
"A targeted strike on a residential complex in the Shevchenkivskyi district," the mayor said.
He added that according to preliminary data, for this attack on the city, the Russian forces used an S-300 missile. The official added that there is damage to civilian infrastructure due to the rocket strike on Kharkiv.
Later, the city hall clarified that two people were injured as a result of the Russian rocket strike on Kharkiv.
According to updated information, Russian forces struck Kharkiv with two S-300 missiles, later reported by Oleg Synyehubov, the head of the regional military administration.
'The windows and exterior decoration of four apartment buildings were damaged,' he wrote on Telegram.
He also clarified that the condition of the two injured individuals is assessed as minor, and they received medical assistance on-site.
