In Uman, the celebration of the Jewish New Year Rosh Hashanah has ended. Over the past few days, no emergencies have been recorded in the pilgrimage area of ââthe Bratslav Hasidim.
This was reported by the United Jewish Community of Ukraine (UJCU).
It is noted that the event was organized at the highest level by the Foundation named after Rebbe Nachman with the support of the authorities: law enforcement provided an unprecedented level of security.
"This year, there are almost no traditional Hasidic dances at the end of the holiday, as the pilgrims understand that an active phase of hostilities is underway in Ukraine. Most of them are already leaving Uman," the message says.
The UJCU reminded that more than 23,000 pilgrims demonstrated their faith in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
