Russia attacked with 2 Iskander missiles and 37 drones: 5 drones and both missiles hit their targets

On the night of July 29 (starting at 21:40 on July 28), the Russian forces launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Russia’s Rostov region and occupied Crimea, along with 37 Shahed strike drones and various types of imitation drones from the directions of Orel, Kursk, and Hvardiyske (Crimea).

The air attack was repelled by Ukrainian aviation, missile defense forces, electronic warfare units, drone units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.

Preliminary data as of 09:00 reports that air defense shot down or suppressed 32 Shahed drones (and other types of UAVs) in northern and eastern Ukraine.

There were confirmed hits by 5 drones and 2 missiles in 3 locations, and debris from shot-down drones fell in 2 other locations.
