Russia conducts widespread attacks across multiple Ukrainian regions

Zaporizhzhia region

Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 701 attacks on 24 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region. One person was injured, and one was killed as a result of the Russian attack on the Huliaipole community. This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

According to him, Russian troops carried out 16 airstrikes on Veselianka, Novo-Yakivlivka, Ternuvate, Stepnohirsk, Orikhiv, Rivnopillia, Solodke, Zaliznychne, and Preobrazhenka. 460 drones of various types (mostly FPV) attacked Bilenke, Zapasne, Novomykolaivka, Kushuhum, Stepnohirsk, Plavni, Stepove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohirya, Zelenyi Hai, and Malynivka.

  • 7 rocket strikes hit Stepove, Malynivka, and Novoandriivka.
  • 218 artillery strikes were carried out across Stepnohirsk, Plavni, Stepove, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohirya, Zelenyi Hai, and Malynivka, Fedorov noted.
  • 20 reports were received of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.

Fedorov also reported that over 760 electricity subscribers in Zaporizhzhia region remain without power due to enemy attacks, while another 1,740 have already been restored.

“After the enemy attack, 1,740 subscribers in Novomykolaivka who were without electricity have already been reconnected. Work continues,” he wrote.

Additionally, in six other settlements, 762 subscribers were de-energized for safety due to enemy strikes. According to Fedorov, as soon as the security situation allows, energy workers will resume repairs.

Donetsk region

Russian forces killed two people and injured seven others in Donetsk region on October 26, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.

He stated that the fatalities occurred in Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka, and seven more people were wounded in Donetsk over the day.

Filashkin emphasized that the total number of victims in Donetsk (3,703 dead and 8,377 injured) does not include Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Sumy region

In Sumy region, a 69-year-old man was killed and fifteen others were injured, including children aged 8 and 15, as a result of heavy shelling on October 26. This was reported on Telegram by the Sumy Regional Police.

Residential buildings, vehicles, municipal facilities, and social and housing infrastructure were damaged or destroyed. The heaviest toll came from a strike on a passenger minibus in Postolne, which was destroyed by fire — among its passengers were the fatality and 13 injured. One more person was injured in Bilopillia community and another in Sumy.

Kherson region

Over the past day, Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure in Kherson region, resulting in one person injured, as reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

During the past day, enemy drone attacks, airstrikes, and artillery shelling affected Antonivka, Blahovishchenske, Naddniprianske, Sadove, Honcharne, Dniprovske, Kizomis, Novodmytrivka, Tomina Balka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Oleksandrivka, Daryivka, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Mykilske, Novotyahynka, Ponyativka, Tokarivka, Fedorivka, Beryslav, Ukrainka, Novoraisk, Kostyrka, Monastyrske, Charivne, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Tyahynka, Vysoke, Mykolaivka, Odradokamyanka, Olhivka, Milove, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Vesele, and the city of Kherson.

Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas, damaging 8 multi-story buildings and 19 private houses. They also destroyed an outbuilding, private garages and vehicles, and a gas pipeline. The gas line has been shut off, but there is currently no threat of fire.

One person was injured as a result of the Russian aggression.

Dnipropetrovsk region

Over the past day, the Russian army struck Nikopol and Pavlohrad districts in Dnipropetrovsk region, causing infrastructure damage. This was reported on Facebook by Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council.

Air defense forces destroyed 5 Russian drones. 

In Nikopol district, from evening until morning, the Russian forces attacked mainly with drones and artillery, targeting the Nikopol, Marhanets, and Pokrovska communities.

In Pavlohrad district, on the evening of October 26 and overnight, the Rusian forces struck with drones, damaging infrastructure.

No casualties were reported.
