The Russians are increasing the construction of elevated positions for the Pantsir-S1 air defense missile systems around important strategic sites.
Previously, such towers were mainly characteristic of Moscow’s air defense system, but now the OSINT community has begun to find signs of their construction in other regions as well.
In particular, OSINT researchers Blinzka and D. Mojevensis discovered satellite images showing evidence of three earthen rampart mounds being built for Pantsir systems around the Sverdlov Plant in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region.
This plant is the largest Russian producer of explosives; Ukrainian drones already attempted to attack it last year.
There is also evidence of similar ramp constructions near airfields — Blinzka and another researcher, Jembob, recorded them near the Savasleyka and Sormovo air bases.
