Russian forces launched a missile strike on Sumy earlier today, November 8. As a result of the attack, an enterprise was damaged, and there were injuries.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, the Russian forces used internationally banned methods of warfare to carry out the missile strike on one of the enterprises in Sumy.
"As a result of the enemy attack, two employees were injured. The property of the enterprise was damaged. Prosecutors, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the shelling," the prosecutors emphasized.
It is worth noting that the target of the attack was critical infrastructure in Sumy.
This is not the first strike on the city today. Earlier, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned that a high-speed target was detected in Sumy region. Shortly after, media reported an explosion in Sumy.
Additionally, today the Russian forces struck the village of Krasnopillia in the Sumy region. The attack was carried out with a guided aerial bomb, resulting in several injuries. In particular, rescuers pulled a woman from under the rubble.
