During the night of October 24 (starting at 7 p.m. on October 23), Russian forces launched 128 attack drones — including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types — from several directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Chauda and Hvardiiske in the occupied Crimea. About 90 of them were Shahed drones.
Ukrainian air defenses — involving aviation, missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups — repelled the attack.
As of 9 a.m., air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 72 drones of various types across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Strikes by 47 drones were recorded at 10 locations.
