The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine calls on UNESCO to respond to Russia's threats to send Ukrainian children to boarding schools.

The speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleg Nikolenko, announced this in the microblog Twitter.

Faced with resistance, Russia threatens parents in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions by sending children to orphanages if they do not sign them up for Russian-seized schools. Moscow is using education as a tool of oppression. We call on UNESCO to urgently react to this crime

The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Vadim Skibitsky, also noted that the occupiers are actively issuing Russian passports to Ukrainian children, RBC-Ukraine reports.

According to our data, for example, 800 passports have already been issued in Berdyansk. Even children who are 14 years old are also starting to receive Russian passports.
