In Dnipro, the number of people injured as a result of the Russian missile attack has risen to 153, including 18 children, the youngest of whom is only six months old.
This was reported on Telegram by Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
“The number of those injured due to the enemy attack on the regional center has increased. Currently, there are 153 injured... Medical assistance has already been provided to 18 children. The youngest patient is only six months old,” the statement reads.
The head of the administration added that among the injured who remain hospitalized, 12 people are in serious condition.
"In the Dnipro region, assistance is being provided to everyone affected by the Russian ballistic missile strike. As of now, more than 160 people are known to be injured. Unfortunately, 11 people have died. Debris removal is ongoing, so the death toll may, unfortunately, increase. My condolences go out to all the families and loved ones. This strike damaged much civilian infrastructure: homes, schools, and even a regular passenger train. There were over 500 passengers on the train. Five carriages were destroyed. No casualties were reported. All the injured have received medical care. Another Russian strike targeting civilian life," wrote Volodymyr Zelensky.
