Russian forces launched fresh attacks across multiple Ukrainian regions over the past 24 hours, killing at least nine civilians and injuring dozens more as drones, missiles and artillery struck residential areas, businesses and critical infrastructure.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, seven people were wounded in a missile strike on the city of Kryvyi Rih after Russia targeted a densely populated residential area between apartment buildings, according to local authorities. Three of the injured remain hospitalized in moderate condition. The attack damaged an industrial facility, schools, a shop, apartment buildings and vehicles, while emergency crews continued clearing the aftermath.
Elsewhere in the region, Russian forces carried out more than 10 additional drone, missile and artillery attacks overnight. Three more people—a 22-year-old woman and two men aged 33 and 49—were injured in the Synelnykove district. Attacks also damaged homes and outbuildings in the Nikopol district, while a gas station and a vehicle were hit in the Kamianske district.
In Kherson region, two civilians were killed and 16 others injured as Russian drones and artillery struck 46 settlements. Residential neighborhoods, critical and social infrastructure came under attack. Three apartment buildings, 17 private homes, a medical facility, a gas station, a bank, outbuildings and private vehicles were damaged, regional authorities said.
In Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces launched 880 strikes against 62 settlements, injuring 11 people, including four children. The attacks included one missile strike, 25 airstrikes, 601 drones—mostly FPV drones—and 253 artillery attacks. Authorities received 171 reports of damage to homes, vehicles and infrastructure.
In Sumy region, the death toll from a Russian drone strike on an apartment building in the Romny community rose to four, including a girl under two years old. Regional Governor Oleh Hryhorov said the victims were two women, an elderly man and the toddler, who was killed alongside her mother. Three men were also injured and are receiving medical treatment.
In Kharkiv region, a Russian overnight drone strike on the city of Lozova injured six people, including three children. A 10-year-old girl was hospitalized, while the other victims suffered acute stress reactions.
The drone hit a private property shared by two households, destroying part of the building and igniting a fire that spread across about 70 square meters. A house and two cars burned. Five people, including two children, were trapped inside a cellar after the blast jammed the door and were rescued by emergency services.

Russian shelling also continued in Donetsk region, where one civilian was killed and 10 others were wounded over the past day, according to regional authorities. Four people were injured in Kramatorsk, four in Novodonetske and two in Druzhkivka.
Police recorded 1,243 Russian strikes across the region, damaging 47 civilian sites, including 26 residential buildings. Nine settlements came under fire. In Kramatorsk alone, Russia launched 10 attacks, mostly with drones, damaging apartment blocks, a private home, infrastructure and six civilian vehicles.
In Mykolaiv region, one person was killed and seven others were injured in a series of Russian drone attacks, regional governor Vitalii Kim said. In Mykolaiv city, four people were hurt after morning drone strikes. Two men, aged 58 and 71, were hospitalized, with one in serious but stable condition and the other in moderate condition. Two other victims—a man and a woman—suffered acute stress reactions and were treated at the scene. The attack damaged 10 private houses, a business building and a vehicle, while a fire broke out in an open area.
In the Mykolaiv district, a Russian strike drone hit a gas station in the Kostiantynivka community, killing a 45-year-old man and injuring two others, aged 33 and 44. Both were hospitalized, one in serious but stable condition and the other in moderate condition. The attack destroyed the gas station building and three passenger vehicles.
Another drone strike targeted a farm in the Vesniane community, injuring a 59-year-old man and damaging a warehouse. A separate Shahed drone attack in the Nechaiane community damaged another gas station and sparked a fire, though no casualties were reported.
