Russian forces continued attacks across multiple regions of Ukraine on September 24–25, causing civilian injuries and significant damage to residential and infrastructure facilities.
In Kherson, the Korabelny district was hit by Russian multiple rocket launchers early Thursday, targeting a residential building. The strike destroyed the building’s facade and roof and caused a fire in part of the premises. An elderly man sustained a concussion, blast injuries, and a closed head trauma. Over the past day, 12 people in Kherson region were injured due to Russian attacks, according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
In Chernihiv region, Russian forces carried out drone strikes on infrastructure facilities in the Nizhyn district, leaving several communities without electricity. Additional attacks were reported in the Koriukivka and Chernihiv districts. Overnight shelling in Semenivka caused nearly 40 strikes on residential homes and outbuildings, sparking fires, though preliminary reports indicate no casualties. In Novhorod-Siverskyi district, a drone strike destroyed a residential house. Authorities reported over 60 attacks across more than 20 settlements in the region within 24 hours.
Sumy region experienced 87 strikes on 39 settlements across 15 territorial communities. Civilians were injured in several communities, including Velykopysarivska, Vorozhbyanska, Novoslobidska, and Shalyhynska. Russian forces used GAB precision bombs, multiple rocket launchers, FPV drones, UAVs, and missile strikes. Civilian infrastructure and private property were damaged in Krasnopilska and Vorozhbyanska communities.
In Donetsk region, Russian shelling killed five civilians — four in Kostiantynivka and one in Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka — and injured 17 others over the same period. Local authorities noted that total casualties in Donetsk, excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha, stand at 3,663 dead and 8,201 injured.
In Mykolaiv region, overnight drone attacks damaged an infrastructure facility and a private house, causing power outages on some railway sections. On September 24, Russian forces also launched 10 FPV drone strikes on the Ochakiv community and artillery strikes on Kutsurub and Halytsynivka communities. No casualties were reported.
In Kirovohrad region, a Russian drone attack partially cut power to three settlements and damaged several residential buildings. Authorities reported no casualties, and repair teams are working to restore electricity.
Vinnytsia region under attack by drones On the night of September 25, a Russian UAV strike hit a critical infrastructure facility. The attack caused a fire, which rescuers quickly extinguished. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Last night, Russian forces carried out a drone strike on a municipal facility in the frontline settlement of Prykolotne, Vilkhivka community, Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region. The attack caused damage and a fire in the administrative building. Unfortunately, a 59-year-old man was killed.
