A Russian drone struck a passenger train in the Zaporizhzhia region, injuring a train attendant.
Ukraine’s railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia reported the incident.
“A passenger train in the Zaporizhzhia region has once again been hit by a Russian UAV,” Ukrzaliznytsia said.
The company said that its monitoring group issued an early evacuation order, which helped avoid casualties. According to preliminary information, one of the train attendants sustained minor injuries, and efforts are currently focused on providing her with medical assistance as quickly as possible.

Ukrzaliznytsia reported that passengers will be transported to Zaporizhzhia by buses arranged with the operational support of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
The company emphasized that the safety of passengers and railway employees remains the top priority, and train operations in the region will continue to be closely monitored by railway security teams.
Passengers are warned that transfers involving buses and suburban trains to and from Zaporizhzhia may be introduced. Travelers are advised to pay attention to personalized notifications in the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile application.
