Russian strike kills 13, injures over 50 across Ukraine

On the night of May 25, Russia launched hundreds of missiles and drones at Ukraine — a total of 367 aerial attack assets, including ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as hundreds of strike UAVs. Ukraine’s Air Force reported that 45 cruise missiles were shot down and 266 drones were destroyed.

According to the latest data, 13 people were killed and more than 50 injured as a result of the strikes.

Key consequences by region:

Kyiv and Kyiv region: 4 killed, 25 injured (including three children).

 

 

Khmelnytskyi region: 4 killed, 5 injured; homes and schools were damaged.

 

 

Mykolaiv: 1 killed, 5 injured; infrastructure and a residential building were destroyed.

 

 

Kharkiv: fire broke out, 3 people injured, including a child.

 

 

Zhytomyr region: three children (aged 8, 12, and 17) were killed; 12 more people were injured.

 

 

Konotop: infrastructure facility destroyed, some streets lost power; no casualties reported.

 

 

Chernihiv: a building was damaged; fires broke out at industrial facilities in the region.

 

 

Odessa: vehicles were damaged.

 

 

Sumy and Ternopil: industrial enterprises were hit.
