During the night, the Russian forces attacked the Odessa region with missiles and drones, resulting in the death of a woman. This was reported by Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, on Telegram.
"The enemy attacked Odessa with missiles and drones. Air defense forces worked extremely hard, and most enemy targets were destroyed. As a result of the missile attack in the Odesa district, a 62-year-old woman was killed," the message states.
Buildings and vehicles were damaged, and a fire broke out in dry grass, which rescuers promptly extinguished.
"Regarding the drone attack that occurred early in the morning, there were no casualties or injuries, and significant damage to infrastructure has not been recorded," Kiper noted.
Law enforcement officials are documenting the consequences of yet another crime by Russians against the civilian population of Odessa.
