In the morning of September 28, the enemy struck a healthcare facility in the regional center twice using Shahed drones, resulting in six deaths.

This was stated by the Sumy Regional Military Administration (RMA), the Air Force, and Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.

According to authorities, there are injured individuals. The full consequences of the Russian attack are not yet reported.

Later, the RMA reported a second air strike on the regional center.

The enemy directed Shahed drones at a residential area. The aftermath and the number of victims remain unknown.

According to the Air Force, the occupiers also dropped a GAB (guided aerial bomb) on the Sumy region.

Later, Klymenko stated that Russians struck the medical facility in Sumy twice.

As a result of the first strike, one person was killed, and several hospital floors sustained damage. Evacuation of patients and staff began.

Rescuers and police officers arrived at the scene to assist people. It was during this evacuation that the Russin forces struck again.

At present, six fatalities have been confirmed, including a police officer. Another police officer was wounded.
