In the first eight months of 2025 (January–August), Ukraine’s seaports handled 134,191 TEU — 3.3% more than the total for 2024 and the highest figure since the start of the full-scale war.
This was reported by the Association of International Forwarders of Ukraine.
“Despite the war, shelling, and numerous global logistics challenges, Ukrainian seaports continue to demonstrate resilience and stable growth,” the statement said.
The structure of shipments is as follows:
- Exports — 66,892 TEU
- Imports — 63,042 TEU
- Transit — 4,257 TEU
“Such results are an important signal for business that Ukrainian ports remain reliable even under crisis conditions and are capable of handling export–import cargo,” the Association added.
