Global corporate affairs and strategic communications firm SEC Newgate has launched a new office in Ukraine, marking a significant step in the Group’s European expansion.
The new operation, SEC Newgate Ukraine, will offer services in corporate affairs, institutional relations, and strategic advice to foreign companies from Europe, the US, and Asia seeking access to the Ukrainian market, as well as domestic firms aiming for international visibility.
“We are proud to expand our global offering into Ukraine” said Fiorenzo Tagliabue, SEC Newgate’s Group CEO. “We want to play an active role towards a new future of peace and prosperity for Ukraine. We are here to help all companies and organisations who are willing to support Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts and we will be providing them with world-leading crisis management, corporate communications and advocacy advice”.
Artem Bidenko, Senior Advisor and SEC Newgate Ukraine’s member of the Supervisory board, stated:
“Ukraine now is a place for opportunities and for action. International companies already need support in public affairs, in understanding the Ukrainian context and in building relations with stakeholders. With SEC Newgate’s global expertise and our local knowledge, we provide the platform to make these connections effective – today and in the future“.
The new office will operate under the guidance of newly appointed director Andrii Rudenko, who brings 20 years of experience in advertising and media agencies in Ukraine and Poland.
Sebastian Hejnowski, the head of the Eastern EMEA Region of SEC Newgate in which the new operations sit, added:
“We have made the right move at the right time and this new chapter will foster the solid expansion we have consolidated across the region over the past two years. I believe the existing strong connections between Kyiv and Warsaw will make this venture a great success.”
