Ukraine has earned its second medal at the 2024 Olympic Games, with Serhiy Kulish securing a silver medal in the men's 50-meter rifle three positions event.
According to the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Kulish became the first Ukrainian shooter to qualify for the 2024 Olympics in this discipline. He achieved a third-place finish in the qualification rounds, scoring 199 out of 200 points in the kneeling and standing positions.
In the final, Kulish competed in the rifle shooting event from three positions and earned the silver medal. The gold medal was awarded to Liu Yukun of China, while Swapnil Kusale from India took home the bronze.
