The State Production and Consumer Service, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine continue to work under martial law to open new markets for Ukrainian exports worldwide.
"We know that Ukrainian business is complicated in times of war. That is why the Ministry of Foreign Affairs diplomats, together with the State Production and Consumer Service team, are working hard to open new foreign markets to create new opportunities for the sale of goods and services abroad for Ukrainian companies. In wartime, export becomes real salvation for business," said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.
"The opening of opportunities for our exporters to enter foreign markets not only ensures economic stability for Ukrainian enterprises and the preservation of jobs but also is a guarantee of recognition of the work of our service in guaranteeing the safety of Ukrainian products in wartime," said Deputy Head of the State Production and Consumer Service Olga Shevchenko.
In 8 months of 2022, access to foreign markets was obtained for 10 groups of Ukrainian goods in 6 countries:
- meat semi-finished products and ready to use meat products in Montenegro;
- milk and milk products to the Dominican Republic and Kenya;
- pet food to Singapore;
- entomophagy (insects that create a biotic barrier of protection for crops) in Poland;
- chewable items for pets, freshwater fish and rabbits to Israel.
Forms of certificates are published on the official website of the State Production and Consumer Service in the section "International cooperation" - "Veterinary and safety" - "Certificates for export from Ukraine".
Work is underway to open export markets for various types of poultry meat, table eggs, egg products, fish and fish products, honey and beekeeping products, and other products. Behind each of these decisions are a business request and the enormous work of many specialists, which can sometimes last several years.
