The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) updated the player rankings as of July 21.

According to BTU, Elina Svitolina remains Ukraine’s top-ranked player, rising to 13th place in the world rankings (+1). Svitolina is now in her 366th week among the top 20 players globally, reports Ukrinform. This week, she is competing in Kyiv before heading to the WTA 1000 tournament in Montreal.

Ukraine’s second-ranked player, Marta Kostyuk, maintained her 27th place in the WTA rankings this week. Marta returns to the court and will compete this week in the Washington tournament.

Ukraine’s third-ranked player, Dayana Yastremska, advanced to 33rd place in the world rankings (+6) after reaching the semifinals in Hamburg.

Yulia Starodubtseva dropped to 74th place (-2). Recently, she won the qualifying final and made it into the main draw of the Washington tournament.

Angelina Kalinina remains outside the top 100, starting this week ranked 127th (-4).

Daria Snigur returned to the top 200, now ranked 192nd (+9).

The WTA singles rankings continue to be led by “neutral” player Aryna Sabalenka. American Coco Gauff holds second place, and Wimbledon 2025 champion, Poland’s Iga Swiatek, is third.

In doubles, Lyudmyla Kichenok remains Ukraine’s top-ranked player, sitting 16th in the world this week.

Nadiia Kichenok, after winning the Hamburg tournament title, starts the week ranked 60th (+14), while Marta Kostyuk holds the 85th position in the WTA doubles rankings.
