Yuri Ignat noted that this is not the first Russian provocation in the airspace of foreign states.
The Air Force of Ukraine commented on the flight of Russian missiles in the airspace of Romania and Moldova. Ukrainian defenders could shoot them down, but this posed a threat to the inhabitants of another state.
"The Air Force could shoot down these enemy missiles, but they understood the risks and threats to the population of a foreign state, so they did not do it right away," Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said in a comment to Ukrainian Truth.
At the same time, he recalled that this is not the first such provocation by Moscow in the airspace of foreign states - a similar situation was recorded in Moldova.
On the morning of Friday, February 10, an air alert was announced in Ukraine due to the 14th massive Russian missile attack. The occupiers lifted aircraft into the air, and Russian ships with Kalibr missiles entered the sea.
The invaders struck critical infrastructure in Kharkiv. In addition, explosions occurred in Zaporizhzhia, Odessa region, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Lviv region, as well as in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Kryvyi Rih, the capital, and Kyiv region.
