Ukrainian defence-tech company General Cherry, which develops and manufactures drones for the military, announced that its new unmanned aerial vehicle, the General Cherry Bullet, has completed testing and is ready for serial production for the Defence Forces. Bullet is designed to detect and neutralize Russian strike UAVs of the Shahed type, the company said in a press release.

During tests, developers managed to accelerate Bullet to 309 km/h, enabling it to intercept fast and highly manoeuvrable targets. The drone is produced in several variants: night, day, and with a terminal-guidance system.

“We set a clear goal — to create an effective defensive tool that will increase units’ ability to protect critical facilities and civilian infrastructure. The General Cherry's Bullet is the result of cooperation between our best specialists and the military, who were able to bring the new UAV from concept to serial production in operational terms,” said Yaroslav Hryshyn, founder of General Cherry. He added that developers continue to improve the interceptor drone.

General Cherry plans next to scale Bullet up to serial production.
