The Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down 61 Russian drones, while 22 more were lost from radar.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
On the night of February 10, 2025 (starting at 9:00 PM on February 9), Russian forces launched an attack using 83 strike drones of the Shahed type and various decoy drones from multiple directions, including Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.
The air assault was countered by aviation, air defense missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 9:00 AM, 61 Shahed strike drones and other types of UAVs were confirmed shot down over the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
Additionally, 22 Russian decoy drones were lost from radar without causing any negative consequences.
As a result of the Russian attack, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Kirovohrad regions were affected.
