Germany will provide Ukraine with €9 billion annually over the “coming years.”
This was announced by German Finance Minister and Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil during his visit to Kyiv, as reported by the German outlet Tagesschau.
“We will support Ukraine with nine billion euros every year. This is a significant contribution,” he said.
Klingbeil also emphasized Germany’s readiness to participate in potential security guarantees, noting that the country “will not shy away.”
“I am in close coordination with the Federal Chancellor, looking for ways to discuss how Germany can best support Ukraine in a possible peace process,” Klingbeil added
